The Issue of Immigration Raised to Republican Candidates

Michelle's opinion differed than that of Mitt Romney's. She takes the stand of allowing immigrants to stay if they've already been here for a while, but trying to utilize them for the benefit of the country. She referenced a quote Steve Jobs said to President Obama referring to other industrialized countries. He was one of the greatest innovators of our time, but he pointed out that he had to move most of his operations to China because America didn't have enough of the workers he needed to complete his projects. Bachman pointed out that we could use the people who come into our country and are willing to work for less to make ends meet for purposes such as these. She says, "We think about the United States and what's in the best interests of the United States. If we can utilize these workers, like Steve jobs wanted to, then we need to offer those visas. That will help the United States." What she doesn't agree with is letting everyone get over on the system . She wants to propose a plan that will allow people to gain citizenship so that they can benifit America.
